Spring has been revealed as one of the best times to sell property, seeing a big surge in property sales.

 

The UK’s biggest property portal Rightmove has released new data.  This data confirms that March has seen, on average, the highest number of buyer enquiries per property for sale over the last five years.

The study also shows that strong demand from buyers in March sees the highest competition for homes available on average. From our own experience, this trend has started early. Two of our most recent new listings have seen multiple offers received and up to ten viewings booked on the first day of viewings.

Rightmove’s data also highlights that the search for properties with gardens and outdoor spaces have seen a 70% increase in two years. More and more people are continuing to look for their own garden paradise. Again, this is a trend we are seeing with buyers looking for Waterside properties for both main residences and second homes. Buyers wish to revaluate their lifestyles and adapt to a slower and more peaceful pace of life.
